*Stretching Materialities* investigates how materials, spaces, and modes of display can serve as active agents in exhibition-based research. The book presents an empirical, interdisciplinary approach that integrates art, design, architecture, computer science, and anthropology. Through an exhibition at the Tieranatomisches Theater in Berlin, the authors explore the interplay between tangible and virtual matter, sound, technology, space, time, and sensory experience. It also analyzes the exhibition-making process and the emerging possibilities for research at the intersection of art, technology, and curatorial practice.
