FS 100: College Success, Second Edition is a textbook that guides students in developing the skills necessary for success in a university environment. The book begins with College Resources, helping students utilize libraries, academic support centers, and mentoring services. Self-Management (Time) and Motivation equip students with time management skills, self-discipline, and motivation. Goal-setting guides students in setting personal and academic goals, while Collaboration develops effective teamwork skills. The Information Literacy chapter helps students find, evaluate, and use information accurately. Financial Management provides knowledge on managing personal finances in an academic setting. The Academic Planning chapter, combined with Career and Advising Resources, supports the creation of a study plan aligned with career goals. Academic Success Strategies provides effective learning, memorization, and exam preparation methods. The book concludes with a Conclusion and Supplemental Materials section to reinforce the knowledge and skills learned, aiming to help students feel confident and proactive throughout their university studies.
