This book is the second edition after the first book Optoelectronics - Materials and Engineering published in 2011, belonging to the InTech international collection of works on optoelectronics. Optoelectronics, as a discipline specializing in the research and application of electronic devices that emit, detect and control light, has developed widely around the world and created many modern conveniences today. Thanks to this popularity, new applications and novel optical phenomena continue to drive innovation. Accordingly, like the first book in the collection, this book covers the recent achievements of experts around the world. The growing number of participating countries, including Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, the United States and Vietnam, as well as the joint participation of US and Moldovan scientists in the publication of this book and the writing of one of its Chapters, testify to the unifying effect of science. The interested reader will find in this book a description of the properties and applications using organic and inorganic materials, such as various polymers, oxides and semiconductors, as well as methods of fabrication and analysis of the operation and areas of application of modern optoelectronic devices.
