Theriogenology: Recent Advances in the Field presents new advances in reproductive biotechnology in domestic, pet, and wild animals, with the goals of improving productivity, controlling reproduction, and conserving valuable genetic resources. The book is divided into four main sections: reproductive physiology (endocrine mechanisms, gonadal activity, ovulation, and sperm function), reproductive pathology (endometritis, postpartum disorders, and abnormalities of sexual development), assisted reproductive technology (sperm banking, somatic tissue, in vitro embryo production), and animal breeding. This document is especially useful for researchers, veterinarians, and biotechnologists working in the fields of animal reproduction and conservation genetics.
