Cuốn sách trình bày những cơ sở và ứng dụng của điều khiển dự đoán dựa trên mô hình (Model Predictive Control – MPC) trong các bài toán điều khiển đa biến có ràng buộc. Nội dung giới thiệu các nguyên lý cơ bản, ưu điểm và cấu trúc của MPC, đồng thời hướng dẫn thiết kế, hiệu chỉnh và mô phỏng bộ điều khiển bằng MPC Toolbox trong môi trường MATLAB và Simulink. Abstract:

This book presents the foundations and applications of Model Predictive Control (MPC) in constrained multivariable control problems. It introduces the basic principles, advantages, and structure of MPC, and guides readers through the design, tuning, and simulation of controllers using the MPC Toolbox in MATLAB and Simulink environments. The book covers adaptive MPC control, amplification-scheduled MPC, and nonlinear MPC control, along with application examples in process engineering such as reactor control and industrial processes. Through illustrative problems, the book helps readers understand how to build models, design controllers, set parameters, and evaluate the response of MPC systems. This material is suitable for engineers working in control and automation, process engineering, as well as engineering students who want to learn about MPC technology.
