Tập sách Truy cập mở này nhằm mục đích truyền cảm hứng cho những chuyển đổi sáng tạo và có phản ứng về mặt văn hóa trong các hoạt động và chính sách đào tạo giáo viên trong và ngoài châu Âu trong bối cảnh thiếu hụt giáo viên. Nó kết hợp những nỗ lực hợp tác trong nhiều năm giữa Trung tâm Đào tạo Giáo viên và Nghiên cứu Giáo dục (ZLSB) tại Đại học Công nghệ TU Dresden (Saxony, Đức) và mười một đối tác quốc tế. Các bài viết bên trong khám phá các quan điểm khác nhau về tình trạng thiếu hụt giáo viên và nỗ lực điều hướng một cách có hệ thống những phức tạp của vấn đề theo quan điểm của các thay đổi chính trị đương đại, các mô hình thể chế của các trường đại học và những chiêm nghiệm lý thuyết của các quốc gia tương ứng. Các nhà nghiên cứu từ Úc, Cộng hòa Séc, Đan Mạch, Vương quốc Anh, Đức, Ireland, Nhật Bản, Ba Lan, Thụy Điển, Thụy Sĩ và Hoa Kỳ mạo hiểm vào các vùng lãnh thổ mới bằng cách đan xen diễn ngôn về tình trạng thiếu hụt giáo viên với các con đường thay thế vào nghề giáo.

Abstract:

This Open Access volume aims to inspire innovative and culturally-responsive transformations in teacher education practices and policies within Europe and beyond in the context of teacher shortage. It amalgamates the collaborative efforts during several years between the Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (ZLSB) at TU Dresden University of Technology (Saxony, Germany) and eleven international partners. The articles inside explore different viewpoints on teacher shortage and endeavors to systematically navigate the intricacies of the problem in light of contemporary political shifts, institutional paradigms of universities, and the theoretical contemplations of the respective nations. Researchers from Australia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States venture into new territories by intertwining the discourse about teacher shortage with alternative routes into the teaching vocation.
